Newest entries at the bottom. January 1, 2002. Tuesday. What a way to start the new year. Could it get any colder?? Chance of snow for the next few days, which would be awesome! There wasn't much to do today, except stay inside to keep warm. And eat too much. I promised myself I would get back into the exercise routine starting tomorrow. I've been going to aerobics for 5 years, but I took December off due to an overflowing schedule. I have no doubt that 2002 will be full of surprises. Stay tuned....
January 6, 2002. Sunday. Pattie was beautiful in the winter when she put on her winter fur coat. When you talked to her, she talked back with her screeching meow-oww-oww. She had this funny little smirk - like in the pic - she'd give me when she was happy. Pattie liked to sleep in the yard on the cool grass. Once she slept in the middle of the yard curled in a ball an entire day. Late in the afternoon my neighbors called and though she had died because she hadn't moved in so long! I know that by morning she will be gone, but she lived a good, long, happy life. We'll burry her next to her mom - Tiger - in the corner of the yard. And never ever forget her.
January 7, 2002. Monday Pattie. 1987 - January 7, 2002.
I think I cried an ocean of tears today. For Pattie, for Millie, Mouse, Prisi, Benji, Oh. Tiger. Oh. My baby Tiger... Pattie was the last of the kittens that we kept. My heart feels so empty. I wonder where do they go? Pets give you unconditional love, comfort, joy, friendship. Surely their life force must go somewhere. I don't want to believe that their light just fades out... flickers for a moment... then is gone.
January 9, 2002. Wednesday. The story: January 10, 2002. Thursday. The entire aerobics class broke into applause when I walked in the door tonight. Awesome.
January 26, 2002. Saturday Well, gee I wonder why I haven't had much time to update?? We have been pretty busy, but we have a few big things taken care of. The church is booked. The reception hall has us down. They are going to do most of the catering too. This 'small' wedding sure is going to be a big event! I found the most beautiful perfect wedding dress. Oh I forgot... we set the date! February 14, 2003. A Valentine evening candlelight ceremony, with a reception to follow. I always thought it would be so awesome to get married on Valentine's Day. It just seemed like the most perfect day of the year for a wedding. It was somewhat of a dream of mine... to have it happen to me... ya know? We have a lot of details and planning to work out, and everything is so expensive! I'm excited and nervous and anxious all at the same time. It's a new beginning, but also an ending to life as I know it.
Other news, I've decided to sit out of choir this spring. It's getting to be more of a hassle than something I enjoy. Christmas concert CDs are now available!! Email me if you want one.
February 14, 2002. Thursday. Just think.... ONE YEAR FROM TODAY we'll be saying our " I do's"! Happy Valentine's Day!!! I loved my flowers!!! I love MILKMAN!! And I can't wait to get my rings next week!!! Happy belated Mardi Gras too! We had a really good time this year. MILKMAN parked his truck on the parade route, we barbecued, hung out with friends, watched the parade. Caught a MC parade, a few Houma parades, and Thibodaux parades. Much fun. Pictures to come soon.... well, as soon as I have some free time to update....

"Beginning April 2, 2002, we will no longer be Well, a big screw you to Geo!!!! I am being forced to move. Eh, Geocities has always sucked, but it was free, and I was too lazy to go somewhere else. Now it seems I have no choice. New web page addy to be posted SOON.
In other news, work has been a bitch. I have been feeling blah. Wedding planning is coming along a bit at a time. I have a veil and a tiara! Clint and I haven't been spending too much time together with our busy lives. It rained all day Friday. I can't wait for spring weather to get here.
